Chairman’s ‘mardle’ December

Just as we all were planning whatever Christmas celebrations we would be allowed to have, in December the Trustees held the inaugural meeting with all Members and interested parties and we were pleased to be joined by representatives from Caister, Hemsby, Somerton and Hemsby Parish Council.

The intention was to share what we have been working on, to maintain our open relationship and try to encourage interaction with residents and representative bodies to progress our community aspirations.

I felt that we achieved this and hope that it will grow as the community sees what we are able to delivery for their benefit as a whole!

Please don’t hesitate to get involved as we welcome all contributions, and here’s to a more productive and successful 2021.

I fully support the objects of Flegg CLT and in particular I understand that :-
  • Members each have one vote at general meetings regardless of how many £1 (one pound) shares they hold;
  • Shares will never be worth more than I pay for them, could even reduce in value, and there will be no dividend payable to subscribers;
  • This is not a savings scheme and I may not get any or all of my money back should I ever ask for this in the future. If I wish to leave the CLT, the Trustees will consider whether my share money can be returned. Flegg CLT cannot guarantee it will have sufficient funds;
  • The shares are not backed by any compensation scheme or ombudsman;
